Our story

 

Search My Heart Project is a personal project founded with the mission of empowering Christians to strengthen their spiritual habits and deepen their relationship with God.

Our blog offers a range of content including devotional reflections, inspirational stories, and practical tips for cultivating a meaningful spiritual life.

In addition, we provide free downloadable resources such as prayer journals, scripture reading plans, and guided devotionals to help believers stay consistent and focused on their faith journey. These tools are thoughtfully designed to inspire daily moments of connection with God and to encourage intentional growth in faith.

Our Mission 

  • To create a meaningful and thriving online community where Christian women, both young and old, can come together to deeply invest in and nurture their walk with Christ, growing spiritually and supporting one another.
  • To actively encourage, inspire, and fully equip all women to pursue and develop a more profound, meaningful, and personal relationship with Christ in their daily lives.
  • To share the powerful and life-changing word of God, come together in prayer, and engage in meaningful fellowship as one united body in Christ.
  • To embark on and successfully accomplish the vital work of the "GREAT COMMISSION," which is to passionately spread the transformative gospel of Jesus Christ to people across the entire world. 

Our history

Search My Heart Project as a ministry began in 2020, it begun as I felt a burden on my heart to the help the less privileged. So, the journey began with giving alms both online and face to face. Then by God's grace, my assignment broadens, and I started an Instagram and Facebook page in 2022 and here we are in 2025, and I have finally accomplished one of the goals for 2025 and that is to start a Christian Blog and promote Christ to the masses. The Lord has been faithful as all funds were self-funded by the grace of God. Another key aspect of Search My Heart Project has been building a community of prayer and support. Over the years, I have hosted  prayer meetings and Bible study sessions that have brought people together from different walks of life. These gatherings have become a source of encouragement, where individuals can share their testimonies, pray for one another, and deepen their understanding of God's Word. It has been humbling to see lives transformed and faith strengthened through this growing community, and my hope is to expand these efforts even further in the future..

Why the Name "Search My Heart Project"?

The name Search My Heart Project is inspired by 

Psalm 139:23-24

"Search me, O God, and know my heart! Test me and know my thoughts!

See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

This powerful Bible verse serves as the foundation of the Search My Heart Project. The word "project" reflects a meaningful and deliberate undertaking, one with a clear purpose guided by God. This initiative is not a random effort but a calling initiated by God Himself. My role is to faithfully carry out the tasks entrusted to me by my Heavenly Father.

My name is Dorcas. I’m a wife, a proud mother of five incredible children, and a Registered Nurse. Beyond my work, I have a deep passion for crafting and creating uplifting Christian content for social media. One of my favorite ways to worship is through singing. While my voice may not be perfect, I am endlessly grateful for the gift God has given me. I find joy in praising Him during the everyday rhythms of life—whether I’m tidying the house, working, or driving alone. Some of my most treasured moments are those spent singing together with my family or watching my children joyfully 'play church' at home.

When I’m not working or writing, I love to read, craft, and enjoy quality time with friends and family. These moments bring such peace and renewal amidst the hustle of daily life.

My Life’s Purpose

As a daughter of the Most High, my greatest desire is to serve Him with all my heart. My purpose is to live a life that honors and glorifies God—a life pleasing in His sight. I strive to use the gifts He has entrusted to me to inspire and guide others toward the path of faith. Though it may not always align with worldly trends, it is the one true path that leads to eternal joy and glory.
